ABVP Namchi Nagar Organizes Flag Rally (Tiranga) In Namchi Bazaar

Akhil Bharatiya Vidharthi Parisad (ABVP) organizes a flag rally (Tiranga), in Namchi Bazaar premises, on May 09.

The organizing of Namchi Bibhag of Sikkim Prant, ABVP, almost a hundred students from nearby colleges and youths of Namchi joins the rally. The rally was led by ABVP’s Executive for SGC Namchi, Pravesh Luitel, and Namchi Nagar Bistarak, ABVP, Abishek Nepal.

The rally was done in the presence of Sikkim Prant Secretary, ABVP, Samiran Karki.

Motives behind the Flag Rally

The ABVP Namchi Nagar wants to spread the notion of, patriotism, national integrity, and responsibilities towards the country, amongst the students, in this 50th Statehood Anniversary of Sikkim State.

And through today’s rally, ABVP Namchi Nagar also wants to motivate the frontline soldiers deployed in border areas of India.

Secretary Samiran Karki also wants to spread message of Sikkim’s patriotism towards the nation amongst the unaware lots of India, unknown of Sikkim’s statehood.

Banner and theme

Today’s rally has the banner of ‘students for development’, with the theme: students for nation.

ABVP Sikkim Prant wants to carryout similar rallies in all the other districts of Sikkim, under the same banner throughout this May month, to commemorate the Statehood Anniversary.

The rallies are being carried out on donations donated by the former members of ABVP, known as ‘Purva Karyakartas’.
