While talking to press today, the president of IHRC Namchi said that they will visit the Returning Officer of the Election Commission Namchi Office, at District Administrative Centre Namchi, and forward the letters to the Superintendent of Police Namchi and SDM (Administration) Namchi, for requesting the availability of proper facilities for specially abled voters for the upcoming general and parliamentary elections that is going to be held next month.

The president of IHRC Namchi, Jigmee Kaleon have shared that their focus of the request will be on, wheelchair accessibility, signage and clear instructions, specialized voting equipments, trained equipments, queue management, and sensitization and awareness programme prior and during the election, for specially abled voters.

Also, the president of IHRC Namchi, Jigmee Kaleon, have commented that all the voters should get to use their freedom and rights to vote in the election with utmost sincerity and dignity.
