(Namchi, 7th April, 2024) The candidate of BJP Sikkim for Poklok-Kamrang constituency, Arjun Rai, campaigned in Aambotay and nearby wards of the constituency today.

Arjun Rai made door to door visitation from 10am till 05pm, as per the guidelines of ECI Namchi Office, with his supporters from the constituency.

It is for the first time BJP party has penetrated the rural areas on foot. And the candidate of the BJP Party, Arjun Rai, shared the minor and major benefits, opportunities and developments brought by the BJP Party, to the people he visited, while also handing over the people with the party flag, party’s leaflets and badges.

The most of the public met by Arjun Rai today were, elderly men, women and few youths. The candidate visited almost a hundred houses in today’s campaigning.

As a feedback, the people have mostly favored Arjun Rai for belonging in a neighbor GPU, and the earlier supports he gave them were also mentioned by the people.

The people were also made aware of the rations, jobs, pensions and other development plans of the the BJP government, and also shared with them the campaigning items and people’s right to vote for the right candidate.

However, the fellow supporters of Arjun Rai, have shared that they chose to follow the party candidate for reasons like, being unable to speak to the regional party leaders, being unheard by the leaders of the regional parties and to give a chance to BJP Party for the fulfillment of their bigger promises. They have also shared that it may be a risk to support BJP Party, but it was only just for them to be given a chance.

The candidate’s campaigning will continue tomorrow with other nearby wards, alongwith campaigning on personal level after hours.
