Budget fashion with capsule wardrobe for men

People from Sikkim, Kalimpong, Darjeeling, and Siliguri, are well known for their endorsement in fashion and style. But, with the ever increasing competition in clothe prices, a few can hit it off quite well.

Let me introduce to a concept of ‘capsule wardrobe’, which has become quite popular in internet in 2025. And across which I came, as early as the first week of January.

Capsule wardrobe focuses on branded fashion with minimum buys, usually giving wearer a sense of accomplished consumerism. Really, it is all about mix and match with minimum items in your closet. It is both minimalist, as well as fulfilling, trust me.

Now, to some of you, fashion comes easy, while others are just buying too much. Really, how hard it is to buy one branded item for next six month and mixing them with what you already have. And for next six month, you won’t buy anything, challenging enough?

Today, I’m going to list out nine basic items, that is going to be useful this spring-summer-autumn. So that you can decrease your impulsive buying and save extra paycheck for winter add-ons. Also, you can say goodbye to any items from your closet that will not be useful anymore.

So, here is your list:

1. Blue denim – some of you may want a little distressed or washed jeans, but it never gets old. Again, some of you may like a slim fit jeans with a high waist, but I’m finding a regular fit to be more versatile.

2. White tees – the most versatile of all other colors, white tees come in various styles. Personally, I’m still looking for oversized off-white t-shirt.

3. Blue dress shirt – to make it more casual, you can have it lightly stripped. Or replace them with blue flannel shirt. Won’t you agree?

4. Black trouser – next up, is one of the most versatile outfit there is for every occassion. But for today’s list, it gives that elegant touch, whenever necessary.

5. Grey hoodie – this one is for the days that are gloomy in the hills and a plain. A necessary warmth required at any time of a day with fluctuating weather.

6. White sneakers – that one piece that never goes out of style, and can be matched with any coloured trouser. White sneakers may be used for more casual looks whenever you have an urge to wear a black pair of boots.

7. Black Chelsea boots – now, you may want to wear a combat boots with laces, according to their availability. But in this list, Chelsea boots are for the occasions that demand more elegant moments. You do not want to wear a combat boot and appear on a date.

8. Black overcoat – this item will be – ‘an end of fashion’ as someone has said. It may be more casual or more formal according to the match you make.

9. Black baseball cap – this item is more of an accessory you’ll be needing for summer. But with right match, it gives a badass look, while serving as protection from ever present uv sun rays.

This is only an exemplary items for men’s capsule wardrobe. There can be numerous other options, as required of your complexions, interest, and varieties of items – colour, texture, and repetition. But, if you are liking the idea of capsule wardrobe, make sure to use no more than nine items. Stay minimalist, stay natural, and save extra earnings for another purpose.
