He further explained that the Khema was formed mainly to put a stop on the benefits of Sikkimese people which was taken over by the family of the former chief minister. He also repeated that the people included in Golay Khema didnot ask for seats, and added that they only wanted to put an end on the benefits enjoyed by a single family, and nothing more. He further added that when the party came to ruling, the government looked after the people of Sikkim even among hardest of times like, the covid pandemic, Russia-Ukraine war and cloud burst and flash flood disaster of Teesta.
Addressing the members of Golay Khema, he expressed gratitude for bringing the opposition party on its knees, and added that a lot is still required in doing.
He encouraged the members by stating that the justice is still yet to be brought to all of them, and expressed the Khema’s loyalty to the supporters who were with them from the first time will be kept.
He further reminded the members that each vote is important for the party, and tried to explain the mass that the former ruling party of SDF has still got the same method of working eventhough it has changed its formats, ie, of taking benefits by the family of party leaders only.
He also announced that there will be the increase and development in various schemes and policies implemented so far by SKM government and emphasized on the works of development in administration, education, health, welfare of women and children, environment, and many more, “because of one vote from the people”, he reasoned.
Although, SKM Party boasts of having its root policy in being open and carrying out all round development, today’s Rholu Diwas have highlighted that their policies are implemented through the individuals and groups joining ‘Golay Khema’, only.
