Sikkim Chief Minister PS Tamang (Golay) once again takes over his responsibilities of the CM and party president.

Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) party’s 7th Jan Unmukti Diwas, at Rangpo, witnesses, Sikkim chief minister as the chief guest, on August 10.

The SLA Speaker and Deputy Speaker, alongwith all the MLAs, also give their presence in the event.

Golay’s addressals to the people were in the forms that shares the significance of the celebration, Government notices and SKM party work plans for next four years.

He also shares the party’s BiPaSa programme; electricity (bijuli), drinking water (pani), and road (sadak). He also highlights the environment preservation initiatives of Sikkim Government, started under SKM ruling. In order to take the government to the people’s doorstep, SKM party wants to deliver citizen centric services, he says.

He also shares on the recent budget session of Sikkim Legislative Assembly. And repeated that the party will work twice more than their last tenure.The government will release existing state development funds and benefits before new year 2025.

The main highlight of the event was the garlanding of the chief guest by the representatives of twentytwo communities. Publicity Secretary of Sikkim cm, Bikash Basnett, says this signifies unity, which is the main mantra of the party.
