Sikkim and Darjeeling Group wins Inter Group Thal Sainik competition

The trophies and medals are given to winner cadets of Inter Group Thal Sainik Camp, in Namchi.

The Camp for West Bengal and Sikkim Directorate (girls) that started on August 01, concludes today.

ADG Vivek Tyagi, West Bengal and Sikkim Directorate, shares that an NCC Academy in Sikkim can give better experience and training to the cadets of Sikkim and Darjeeling Group.

The cadets in this eight days camp participate in six disciplines of NCC training. Obstacle training, health and hygiene, map reading, judging distance, tent pitching and shooting target.

The winners of shooting competition will compete in national level shooting competition in September. Won by Kalyani Group.

However, in the overall score points, Sikkim and Darjeeling Group is the winner.

ADG Tyagi during his addressal, mentions, the inclusion of basic military training to West Bengal and Sikkim Directorate, in the coming days.
